Spinal Epidural Lipomatosis Picture


Spinal Epidural Lipomatosis is a rare condition that is most often
caused by long term steroid use. It is an enlarging of the fatty
tissue in the spinal epidural space. As the fatty tissue enlarges it
begins to put pressure on the spinal canal and the nerves that run
through it. In the picture below once you click it the left is the
before and the right is the after. You can see the build up of fatty tissue.
