Leukoderma is a loss of skin pigment, especially
in patches, caused by a number of disorders and contact with various

It can be caused by

  • Diseases present at birth such as tuberous sclerosis, partial
    albinism, piebaldism, and Waardenburg syndrome

  • Immune system issues such as eczema, psoriasis, and some forms of
    lupus vitiligo and halo moles

  • Contact with chemicals to the skin.

  • Infections such as leprosy, syphilis, and others

  • Information about the picture of Leukoderma

You will notice in the picture below the white patches of skin. When
this much skin is covered it is usually because of a medical condition
rather than something coming in contact with the skin.
