Barber's itch
Barber's itch is a type of Folliculitis. Folliculitis is inflammation of one or more
hair follicles. Barber's itch is a staph infection of the hair follicles in
the bearded area of the face, usually the upper lip. Infection forms in the
hair follicles when the skin is scratched while shaving.
