Mononucleosis Rash Picture

A pink, measles-like rash can occur with
Mononucleosis and is more likely if the patient is given ampicillin or
amoxicillin for a throat infection. Mononucleosis does not cause the
rash itself but rather it is a reaction to the anti-biotic. The picture below
shows the hand of a child with mononucleosis with a reaction to amoxicillin.
