Calcaneal fracture, is a fracture of the calcaneus. The calcaneus is
the heel bone. It is a very strong bone and is hard to fracture. It usually caused
by a fall from height. You can see the fracture highlighted in the
picture above. Because of the amount of force need to fracture this bone
it often is a severe fracture that can take a long time heal.
