Poison Ivy Rash Picture
POISON IVY is a woody shrub or vine with hairy looking aerialroots. It grows to 10 feet or more. Unlike some plants that cause a rash on
contact all parts of poison ivy, including the roots, are poisonous not just
the leaves. The skin rash is cause by an oily substance produced by the
plant. Contact can cause blisters to develop on the skin as well as a rash
in the area of contact. The picture shows the blistering and rash caused by
poison ivy.
