Piercing Infection Picture

A piercing infection is one that develops at the site of a body piercing or
tattoo. It is an infection as would develop in any wound. It is cause by push
bacteria through the skin as the skin is pierced by the item place into the skin
or the needles from the tattoo or because bacteria enter the skin from the
damaged area of the skin created by the tattoo or piercing. These infections
usually happen right after the procedure but can also develop months even years
after. Piercings can cause irritation to the skin long after the procedure
allowing for bacteria to inter the skin. You can see the red inflamed skin cause
by a piercing infection in the picture.
