Periorbital cellulitis
Periorbital cellulitis is an infection of the tissues
surrounding the eye. It can be caused by a minor trauma to the area around the eye
or it by an infection. The infection can start there or move from another
location in the face.
The main symptom is redness and swelling of the eyelid and the
surrounding area. It effect mostly children under 6.
