Ewing's sarcoma Picture


Ewing's sarcoma is a bone tumor
that mainly occurs in the diaphysis of long bones of children and young adults. As
seen here, the irregular tan to red to brown tumor mass is breaking through the cortex.
It is a cancer that originates in bone cells as apposes to one that spreads to
the bone. Ewing's sarcoma is fairly rare with only about 200 cases in the United
States every year.
